The company passed inspection by REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).
CIT announced that it was “relieved” to have passed the three hour inspection and that they are surprised to see they are “one of the first to get an inspection of surely 2,500 businesses in [the]EU importing toners from outside [the] EU”.
CIT thanked all their toner partners from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India and USA, and said that they had “set up an accurate registration [and] declarations system, getting proper Safety Data Sheets, monitoring and issuing professional Safety Data Sheets to our EU customers”.
The company also said that the “result is very positive” and that it is “very pleased” with the result, and that it looks forwards to “the other 23 member states enforc[ing] the REACH regulation”, especially with the large amount of “clone cartridges entering the EU”.
