Mitsumi will distribute the OEM’s supplies in the Middle Eastern region.
IT Online reported that Mitsumi Distribution “has been appointed” by HP Inc Middle East “as an Authorised HP Supplies Distributor” for the region, with the two companies said to “already have a well-established alliance of six years” with this agreement “further extend[ing] Mitsumi’s East African distribution rights to the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen”. Mitsumi already operates in the UAE, Algeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon as well.
As one of the OEM’s authorised distributors, Mitsumi will distribute the “entire range of products” and “further strengthen HP’s channel ecosystem, expand its customer base, provide better service inventory and delivery, and training/support to resellers” in the Middle East. The company distributes a “wide range” of products including PCs, notebooks, mobility, data centres, storage, hardware, services and telecommunication products “from various well-known vendors”.
