The event is taking place from 14 to 16 March in Dubai, with show organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East noting that the show has “built up a loyal following” since its inaugural event in the UAE in 2011.
The event, which includes the Remanexpo product group in which Turbon will be exhibiting for the first time next month, will see “returning stalwarts and debut exhibitors”, who are making “final preparations” for the three-day show “targeting regional paper, stationery, and office supplies markets”. Exhibitors are said to be from “Austria to Australia, and everywhere in between”, with the seventh show “set to welcome more than 300 manufacturers and suppliers from 42 countries”.
Organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East added that the event has “built up a loyal following, with more than half the exhibitors returning this year” and “debut players” exhibiting from Ukraine, Sweden and the UAE. New exhibitors are “making a beeline to boost business prospects in the Middle East and African market”, the company added. The event has also been said to have offered a boost to regional exports, and is targeting producers of office equipment.
Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, commented: “Paperworld Middle East has gained a solid reputation as a highly-effective facilitator and business generator for companies looking to conclude new deals with regional buyers and distributors, which is why the show has grown to be the preferred trade platform for the industry.
“This year we will once again witness a robust presence on the show floor by international and local big names, all looking to make an impact with trade buyers from the region and beyond.”
The organisers also cited “another regular exhibitor” in Australian cartridge company Calidad, which it stated “will look to make a big impact on a Middle East region which ships more than four million laser and inkjet printers and 19 million toner and ink cartridges every year”. The company’s Marketing Manager Jamie Kenyon commented that “Paperworld Middle East provides Calidad with the opportunity to meet existing international distributors and potential new distributors.
“We’re fast to market with new cartridges, and have our research and development in Australia. We’re seeking exclusive distributors that need a reliable supplier in the complex but rewarding toner and inks category”.
