The partnership has been strengthened by ThinPrint’s latest solution, which enhances HP FutureSmart Ready devices.
MPS Connect reported that ThinPrint has developed a new solution that delivers “secure, compressed and fast printing with HP FutureSmart ready devices”, and that this development is “within the framework of the HP JetAdvantage Partner Programme”. The new solution is free and “delivers end-to-end encryption” direct to the printer, ensuring “compression and streaming of print data” which helps to deliver “secure and rapid printouts”.
ThinPrint claims that “more than 25,000 companies in a range of industries and sizes use ThinPrint software to optimise their printing processes”. Customers are advised that to benefit from ThinPrint’s full range which includes “simplified administration, print data compression, bandwidth control and SSL secure print data transmission”, the free ThinPrint Solution is required on the customer side which can be provided “via hardware in the form of the ThinPrint Hub or on desktops”.
Users of the HP FutureSmart series will now gain a smoother “printing experience”, claims ThinPrint, and within the “framework of the HP JetAdvantage alliance” they developed the new solution which is installed directly on to the printers, and companies will also benefit from “from automated set-up and management of their printers thanks to this new client”.
Thorsten Hesse, CPO at ThinPrint, said: “ThinPrint has been an HP Partner for more than nine years. For the benefit of our common customers, and for potential new customers, we have once again strengthened our close cooperation. There is now a wide range of HP printers for which a certified ThinPrint Client is available. In addition, there is a wide range of HP thin clients that are offered with an integrated ThinPrint Client.”
