CIG (Clover Imaging Group) has renewed RAL and ISO certifications, and earned others.
Digital Imaging (German) reported that CIG was “pleased to have received eight new certification contracts” under the RAL-UZ177 standard, with these “valid for 55 toner modules, which are used in a total of 198 laser printers”. The company’s Jürgen Conrad told the news site that this was “further evidence of the US group’s leading role in product quality and compliance”.
The previous test criteria for RAL-UZ55 “expired” at the end of 2016, but “due to the long-term cooperation with TÜV Rheinland and RAL GmbH in the field of material and emission measurement, it took only a few weeks for Clover to receive the new certificates” last month. Digital Imaging added that the company also “benefited from the monitoring agreements” for the LGA and Blue Angel standards.
Conrad added that “with this step we strengthen our competitiveness. For our customers, this is an additional proof that Clover continues to rely on high-quality and sustainable products”. `Additionally, CIG’s Clover Germany GmbH and Clover Environmental Solutions GmbH “updated their management systems” last year, including: ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; and ISO 50001:2011, while the first of the two is “certified” by STMC as well.
CES, the news site added, is “regarded as the so-called ‘first treatment facility for electrical and electronic equipment’” under WEEE in Germany, and “as a certified waste disposal company, it fulfils all requirements” according to “circulation and disposal ordinance”. Finally, the article added that CES was also confirmed to have “a secure process” according to the DEKFRA standard version 1.2, regarding the “data erasure of mobile devices”.
