For the 11th year the OEM has been named one of “the Worlds Most Ethical Companies”.
In a press release Xerox Corporation announced that it had been recognised for its ethical business practices by the Ethisphere Institute and Xerox was one of only 13 companies listed.
Jeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer at Xerox, said: “At Xerox, we take great pride in our name being synonymous with innovation, quality and integrity. We are committed to doing business the right way, with the highest degree of ethics and in compliance with laws worldwide.”
The assessment for this honour is based on the Ethisphere Institute’s Ethics Quotient which quantifies a company’s performance objectively and in a consistent and standardised manner, collecting data on core competence and all aspects of management, risk, sustainability and ethics.
Timothy Erblich, Chief Executive Officer for Ethisphere, said: “Over the last eleven years we have seen the shift in societal expectations, constant redefinition of laws and regulations and the geo-political climate. We have also seen how companies honoured as the World’s Most Ethical respond to these challenges. They invest in their local communities around the world, embrace strategies of diversity and inclusion, and focus on long term-ism as a sustainable business advantage. Congratulations to everyone at Xerox for being recognized as a World’s Most Ethical Company.”
