The Romanian supplies company hosted a partner conference in Cluj-Napoca and reported that it was successful.
The event was attended by 70 participants at the Ramada Hotel 26 May where a one-day conference took place and several educational and business sessions were introduced.
The day was started with a talk from Victor Matache, CEO, Toko, who introduced everyone and then talked about his experiences at Remanexpo at Paperworld this year as well as Toko’s partner event held in Timisoara.
Mihai Togan, Sales Director, Toko, gave a presentation on the Romanian market while Christian Braten, Static Control’s Romanian representative spoke about the range of Static products and the opportunities they could provide.
An overview of the features and benefits of remanufacturing was given by David Connett, Partner in Connett and Unland GbR after which Connett summarised the European market and pointed out some diverse opportunities for Cluj remanufacturers to include in their businesses.
Gabriel Marin, Technical Manager, Toko, updated everyone on the firmware upgrades for the Apex Unismart chip resetter after which a DMS briefing was given by Adrian Barcutean from Infrasofts and Mihai Togan discussed the potential opportunities of offering DMS to customers.
The last presentation was given by Victor Matache and Mihai Togan updating the audience on Romania’s WEEE legislation and the “obligations for partners and Toko’s waste collection service”.
The day ended with a tombola where first prize was the latest version of Apex’s Unismart chip resetter. Matache commented: “It has been a good day, and we are pleased that over seventy remanufacturers from Cluj and the surrounding area were able to attend.”
