Codex Office Solutions has secured a National Government contract for the whole of the Irish Health Service and more.
The Irish company said in a press release that it would be supplying the Irish Health Service and organisations related to it, government departments and Irish universities through the new contract which is for the whole of Ireland and valued at €7 million ($7.8 million) resulting in Codex recruiting staff.
Siobhan O’Connor, Managing Director of Codex, commented: “Although value for money is essential, this contract was secured based on strong tender scoring around business standards, Corporate Social Responsibilities, investment in online ordering, a robust operations processes, excellent customer service and most importantly a strong financial position to be able to support a contract this size within the Irish Market. We procure 87% of our goods and services from companies based and employing in Ireland so it will be great to work with all our local suppliers to deliver and support this National Contract. Recruitment has already begun with plans to add 10 sustainable jobs to the business which are currently being advertised across a number of Departments.”
