The company announced that the Nordic Swan Ecolabel certificate has been awarded to nearly 250 toner cartridges manufactured by Pelikan.
Nordic Swan extended the Ecolabel 5.4. certificate on almost 250 toner cartridges manufactured by Pelikan until December 2019. Cartridges included are those compatible with Brother, Canon, HP Inc, Kyocera and Samsung.
The label was awarded to Pelikan because their toners “generate minimal waste” through recycling, using less energy and low raw material consumption. Furthermore the cartridges also “fulfil the predefined criteria in terms of product quality, recycling process and system, the material used, packaging and product labelling as well as complying with health requirements”.
Only toner cartridges that are registered on www.svanen.se are confirmed by Nordic Swan and as Pelikan is a producer of “high quality remanufactured toner cartridges” it was important to the company to extend the certificate.
