The OEM has increased its market share in Egypt to 75 percent.
Daily News Egypt reported that according to IDC data the company has increased its share in the printer market by 12 percent since 2016. The IDC stated that the “graphic sector is considered one of the most important sectors that contributed to the growth of Xerox’s business in the Egyptian market” representing 40 percent of the company’s business.
This sector produces “high quality printers” that can turn traditional printers into creative one, giving customers more possibilities. Xerox also launched digital printers in Egypt four years ago and has since attracted contracts from about 200 customers, mostly in medical fields.
Ashraf Nathan, General Manager, Graphics, Xerox, said: “that the company is working to offer after-sale services to all customers inside Egypt in order to maintain its market share and increase it relying on a group of engineers specialised in the field of digital printing.”
