The OEM was awarded High Achiever at the Manufacturing Leadership (ML) Awards gala 2017.
Several employees from Lexmark attended the gala in California to accept the three ML awards from Frost and Sullivan’s Manufacturing Leadership Council.
Lexmark won the ML High Achiever award in the Internet of Things category for its ML Award winning Predictive Service Project which received the most votes from the judges.
The OEM explained the project: “Lexmark has built an operational analytics engine that leverages predictive algorithms and models based on device alerts and deep sensor data. Through this technology, we’ve been able to use the power of big data to bring new capabilities online, such as automatically initiating service requests to greatly reduce the support burden and end-user disruption for our customers.”
Phil Carter, Director of Proactive Service Management, said: “We were really excited to have the Manufacturing Leadership Council recognize our new capabilities and the benefits that our customers are observing when they partner with us.”
The two other awards won by Lexmark at the gala were in the Supply Chain Leadership category for Finished Goods Pull Replenishment project, and in the Collaborative Innovation Leadership category for Visual Process Management project.
