Discover how to remanufacture the HP Colour Laserjet Enterprise M652 MFP M681 black and colour cartridges

In this detailed remanufacturing guide for the M652 series, compiled by Mike Josiah and the technical staff at Uninet, you will learn how to efficiently remanufacture both black and colour cartridges using the provided list of required tools and supplies.

HP’s 652 series of multifunction colour printers all utilise a 60ppm black and colour 1200 x 1200 dpi engine (3600 dpi with RET). The cartridges used are an all-in-one type, meaning they consist of a toner supply, drum and waste chamber.

Some additional useful features of these HP printers include their new HP Sure Start program, which enables the printer to frequently check its operating code and repair any damage from attempted hacks.

As with some older HP printer series, these Colour Laserjet Enterprise models also come with additional features such as an anti-theft device which allows users to lock the cartridges to a specific printer. As a result, if one of the cartridges is moved, the printer will display a ‘Protected Cartridge’ message.

The Recycler previously launched the Online Magazines and Guides page, where you can download or view all remanufacturing guides or wide-format quarterlies. The first guide this year was for the HP Inc LaserJet Pro M26 toner cartridge, and the second was for the HP Inc M102 drum cartridge. In 2016, guides were released for the HP Inc LaserJet Pro M102; Samsung Xpress M3015DW MLT-D118S; ProXpress M3080/M4080; ProXpress M4580; Xerox Phaser 3020 toner cartridge; HP Inc Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M476 black and colour toner cartridges; Brother HL-L6200 series drum cartridge (DR820); HL-L6200; and Lexmark C925.
