HP Sprocket launched in India

The technology firm’s pint-sized photo printer is now available in the country at a cost of Rs 8,999 ($139 /€116).

According to The Economic Times, HP introduced the photo printer, HP Sprocket, which is small enough to fit in the pockets of consumers, in order to attract “millennials, travellers and photography enthusiasts.”

Sprocket, which weighs 0.17kgs and allows users to print directly from both tablets and smartphones, has been designed to work on both Android and iOS platforms and allows you to add emojis and edit photos before they are printed using the Sprocket App.

HP India’s senior director of Print Business, Rajkumar Rishi, explains, “The selfies and pictures taken in our phones are in “digital prisons” and we lose them often.” He continued, “Sprocket caters to the millennials who would want a physical copy of their cherished memories.”
