Epson launched the company’s first A3-size multifunctional InkTank L1455 printer in India.
India reported on the launch of Epson’s new InkTank printer model, the A3 multi-functional L1455, which will retail at the price of Rs 70, 899 ($1,083/ €923).
The model is designed for corporate use and it “can print documents, spreadsheets, diagrams and charts up to A3-size, with a maximum resolution of 4800dpi” as well as being able to copy and fax.
It is equipped with a 4.3-inch colour touchscreen LCD “and offers connectivity options via Ethernet and USB 2.0.” in addition the printer offers Wi-Fi support so users can benefit from wireless connectivity.
The printer has a print speed of up to 18ipm for A4 and 10ipm for A3 and it can support automatic duplex printing with a print speed of up to 8.7ipm for A4-sized documents.
It is supposed to “offer cost per print (CPP) of 12 paise for black and white and 20 paise for composite colour printing.”
Epson has extended a warranty on the printer of one year or 80, 000 pages (whichever comes first).
“The new model (L1455) is designed to meet the demands of office printing and takes productivity to the next level with the ability to print documents up to A3-size at high speeds,” said Siva Kumar, General Manager, Inkjet Printers, Epson India.
