Print-Rite has been awarded the 7th Hong Kong Innovative Technologies Achievement Award for its 3D metal printing technology.

Colido reports that Print-Rite has been awarded the Hong Kong Innovative Invention Silver Award for its 3D metal printing technology, which it began to develop in October 2015. The award has been given by the Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries, and will be presented at a ceremony on 11 December 2017.

Print-Rite’s 3D metal printer uses AMSS Technology, which helps reduce costs, meaning the total cost of use is just 20% of “major metal 3D printing solutions”. It has a similar print speed to FDM printing and also has a similar procedure. The filament in the spool has been designed for ease of use and handling to reduce printing wastage.
