Jet Tech is opening a new ink testing facility in Melbourne and is also recruiting two new specialists.
ProPrint reports that Jet Technologies is opening a new office in Melbourne, as well as “adding two additional staff members, due to its growing customer base in Victoria.”
The new recruits are Josh Hurst and Aeson Lau. Hurst is a print technologist who will be “working closely with James Montgomery and the team supporting the company’s range of UV inks and coatings” while Lau is an adhesives product manager who will be supporting Jet Tech’s range of adhesives.
Jack Malki, director at Jet Technologies, commented on the expansion:
“The company has had more success in Victoria in recent years, and we needed to support the customer base with additional staff, and we really needed to have an office in Melbourne to serve local market. Adding two new employees is a part of the expansion, and we have one more person coming on this year.”
He added, “Victoria always been, perhaps the largest print market in country, and in recognition of size of market and time that has gone on we have more business there, and relationships with clients are close. As the clients have invested we have invested.”
With 2017 having been a fruitful year for the Australian packaging solutions company, Malki concluded, “We have been busy trying to get this year done and have not had a moment to think about 2018. It has been a brilliant year, it feels like yesterday we were at PacPrint. We are going to sit down in January and discuss the upcoming year. We are positive and looking to grow and serve our customers.”
