The OEM’s New Zealand subsidiary has unveiled a new all-in-one MFP which offers cartridge-free printing and supersized ink tanks.

This new MFP is the PrecisionCore-powered WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank device and, as ChannelLife reports, the printer has “enough ink to print up to 11,200 colour pages.”

In addition, the ET-4750 has “auto-stop ink bottles with each colour uniquely keyed for easy filling of each tank, a high-capacity 250-sheet paper tray, fax, 2.4″ colour touchscreen, 30-sheet ADF, fast auto two-sided printing and convenient wired and wireless networking”.

Consumers will be able to print up to 14,000 pages (black) and 11,200 pages (colour) without having to worry about replacing cartridges, though any who exceed these page yields can “purchase additional, low-cost, convenient high-volume ink bottles with Epson’s drip-free nozzle”.

The EcoTank Workforce ET-4750 has been designed with home office and small business users in mind and is “powered by Epson’s patented PrecisionCore technology” which “can generate up to 40 million precise dots per second”.

Other features users will find in this new MFP include “a front paper tray with a 150-sheet paper capacity” and “30-page automatic document feeder”. The printer can also fax up to one page per 3 seconds, has an included PC-Fax feature, “supports the latest wireless standard” and has built-in Ethernet.

The ET-4750 comes with a one-year return-to-base warranty and if users register within 90 days of purchase they can “receive an additional two years bonus warranty”.
