Paul Hartley has taken on the role of President at Michigan Office Solutions, which is part of a Xerox subsidiary company.
MLive has revealed that Paul Hartley will be taking on the role formerly occupied by Ralph Slider, becoming President of Michigan Office Solutions, which is part of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., a Xerox subsidiary.
Slider in turn “has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Field Operations with Global Imaging Systems, Inc.” and “will continue to work with MOS in addition to other GIS companies”.
Michigan Office Solutions has been in business for 60 years, supplying printers and office technology, and was acquired by GIS in 2002.
Hartley, “a longtime Xerox executive” served as Vice President of Acquisition Operations at the OEM and “played an integral role in the 2007 acquisition of GIS by Xerox and was in charge of the Integration Office to ensure a smooth transition”.
He has an engineering degree from Youngstown State and a doctorate in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. This transition offers an ideal opportunity for Hartley “to move to his wife Robin’s home state”.
“MOS is a dynamic organization that Ralph has successfully evolved to meet the demands of an ever-changing business environment,” Hartley said. “I am looking forward to building on his success of MOS through connecting with our customers, continued dedication of our employees, and supporting our communities.”
