Andrew Doherty with Print-Rite Chairman Arnald Ho
Long-time employee Andrew Doherty has been announced as the new General Manager of Print-Rite Europe.
The company revealed the new appointment via their website, stating that Andrew Doherty has been appointed as General Manager and “it would be hard to find anyone better qualified” as he has worked for the company for 36 years
Andrew began his career in printing consumables back in 1979, working as a packer at Trent 300 and then going on to work “on the first inking machine in the UK.” After the 1983 purchase of Trent 300 by Mills Computer Products, Doherty was promoted to supervisor of the packing team and, subsequently, to Production Manager.
After a brief period “away” he returned to take on the role of Logistics Manager in 1998; by this time Print-Rite had taken over the company.
Andrew commented on his appointment: ““I am excited and highly motivated to lead the great team we have here at Print-Rite Europe. We have seen impressive growth in recent months and I am fully committed to maintaining the forward momentum.”
