This decision comes as the OEM reveals plans to expand its headquarters in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Patch reported last week on the news that Konica Minolta will be closing its Windsor facility “within the next six to 18 months, according to the company’s manager of public relations, Kristina Marchitto.” The OEM also revealed that it plans to expand its headquarters, located in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Marchitto revealed that “Konica Minolta does intend to still maintain a location in Connecticut as well as retain the roughly 400 employees” from Windsor, but the Connecticut facilities “will be relocated to the New Jersey headquarters.”

“We are planning to retain and integrate all of our employees,” Marchitto said.

She confirmed that the Windsor employees had been “notified of the impending consolidation” by email.
