Brother Australia rewards partners with island getaway

As part of the company’s At Your Side Partner Program, Brother International Australia launched a 6-month “Hamilton Heroes” incentive program.

Aiming to reward and celebrates its key stakeholders, the OEM launched a six-month “Hamilton Heroes” incentive program in April of this year, as CSO reveals.

This program was “designed to assist key solutions partners to achieve growth with Brother printing, scanning and labelling specialist hardware, and to reward them with an incentive trip”; namely, an island getaway to Hamilton Island, as a Brother Hamilton Hero.

As part of the program, Brother partners “were able to log into the dedicated website and view personal company progress towards their target, keeping the focus on the end goal of increasing purchases.”

35 partners ended up attending the 4-day trip to Hamilton Island, which was described as a “fantastic success.” During their time on the island, Brother partners had the chance to network, “share in Brother’s vision for the future”, attend the OEM’s trade show, and enjoy golf and jet skiing as well as a nautical fancy dress dinner.

Looking back on the program’s success, Julie Woodward, National Channel Sales Manager, B2B at Brother International Australia said “Our Hamilton Island program gave us the opportunity to open the minds of our partners to not only our printing portfolio, but also our labelling and mobility solutions that ultimately enhance the end user’s productivity and everyday experience. Hamilton Heroes and our “At Your Side” philosophy have enabled us to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that we look forward to evolving further in the next phase of our partner program.”

With Brother’s clear objectives in mind, “when investing in business partnerships it’s important to make sure that the focus is long term. That’s what the Hamilton Heroes’ program was about,” said Luke Howard, Commercial Market Development Channel Manager at Brother International Australia. “Investing in long term business partnerships and letting our partners know that they are the life blood of our business. As a vendor we have a great deal to offer a business partner and we value when a partner is pleased to invest time and effort in helping us achieve our mutually agreed goals. We succeed as a cohesive team and programs that promote this are great to be involved with.”

As a result of the success of Brother’s At Your Side Partner Program and Hamilton Heroes, Brother “are continuing to develop the program to expand out to the wider channel, whilst continuing to focus on joint strategies with key targeted hardware and Managed Print Services (MPS) Partners to further understand and add value as the company continues to grow in the market.”
